Below are some of the most commonly asked questions about auto accident injuries and treatment.
1. What if I don't have health insurance?
Florida Law requires all Auto Insurance providers to provide Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Insurance
with all auto insurance policies. PIP coverage pays for medical bills for injuries resulting from an auto
accident.
2. What if I was at fault? Am I still covered?
Florida is a No Fault state and your medical bills are covered regardless of who the at fault driver is.
3. How soon should I make an appointment with a doctor?
Immediately. Even if the pain is minor it is best to see a physician as soon as possible. Some injuries
have a delayed onset and you may not feel the full degree of pain for days to weeks. You will also need
to report any injuries to your insurance company and the sooner the better.
4. What if the other occupants of my vehicle were injured and need treatment?
Anyone in your vehicle is covered by PIP for medical treatment and should see a physician if they were
injured.
5. How do I make an appointment?
